Abstract

Il est décrit des méthodes damélioration de lefficacité de balayage dans les procédés de récupération de bitume sur place. Dans certains modes de réalisation, ces procédés comprennent la réalisation dune étape de développement de chambre dagent mobilisateur, la réalisation ultérieure dune étape de balayage cyclique, et la réalisation ultérieure dune étape de récolte facultative. Létape de développement de la chambre rend mobile le bitume dans la région contournée entre deux chambres dagents mobilisateurs adjacentes. Létape de balayage cyclique permet laccès du bitume contourné par lagent mobilisateur, ce qui facilite sa récupération. Au stade de la récolte, on récolte du bitume et du diluant supplémentaires. Les avantages par rapport à lart antérieur sont laccès au bitume contourné des procédés de récupération antérieurs, lélimination du besoin de puits de remplissage, lamélioration de la récupération du bitume, laccélération de la production de bitume et lamélioration de lefficacité de lutilisation des agents de mobilisation. Les méthodes sappliquent à lamélioration de lefficacité du balayage dans les deux processus de récupération continue, comme le drainage par gravité au moyen de vapeur (DGMV), un DGMV avec solvant dilué (DGMV-SD), un DGMV assisté dun solvant (DGMV-AS), une extraction à la vapeur (VAPEX) ou une VAPEX chauffée, ainsi que des processus cycliques, comme une stimulation de vapeur cyclique (CSS) et un processus de solvant cyclique (CSP).
