Abstract

Cette invention porte sur une méthode de déplacement de mélanges de gaz naturel directement dun pipeline haute pression vers un lieu de confinement marin ou liquide similaire ou un système de transport. Pendant le procédé de chargement, un mélange de gaz naturel riche sélectionné est transformé en état liquide sans la nécessité dune installation intermédiaire traditionnelle de traitement de GNL. Le mélange liquide est attribuable à un changement de phase induit causé par la libération de gaz naturel enrichi de GNL haute pression provenant dun pipeline ou dun lieu dentreposage vers un système de confinement à pression inférieure. Les pressions dans les pipelines de gaz adjacents sont utilisées pour aider au chargement et au déchargement du liquide entreposé. Laugmentation en GNL constituant, le refroidissement ou la mise sous pression peuvent augmenter davantage la densité dentreposage du liquide désirée. Le travail se prolonge au-delà des enseignements existants des auteurs et autres. La densité de la composante de gaz naturel maintenue dans le liquide, ici, dépasse celle du GNLP ou du GNC à ces conditions sélectionnées.
