Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'athérectomie rotationnelle à haute vitesse servant à ouvrir une artère sténosée d'un diamètre donné, lequel dispositif comprend : un fil-guide ; un arbre d'entraînement rotatif flexible de forme allongée pouvant être avancé sur le fil-guide, l'arbre d'entraînement ayant une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale ; ainsi qu'un organe pilote fixé à demeure à l'arbre d'entraînement. Lorsque l'organe pilote est avancé vers une sténose, il crée un trou pilote lorsque l'arbre d'entraînement est mis en rotation.
