Abstract

La présente invention porte sur des systèmes et des procédés qui permettent de déterminer une zone d'intérêt (AOI) pour différents types de lames d'entrée. Les vignettes de lame peuvent être déterminées comme ayant un type sélectionné parmi cinq types différents, et des algorithmes distincts pour la détection de l'AOI peuvent être exécutés en fonction du type de lame. Les types de lame incluent des lames ThinPrep (RTM), des lames de microréseau tissulaire (TMA), des lames de HER2 de contrôle à 4 curs, des lames à frottis, et une lame générique. Le type de lame peut être défini sur la base d'une entrée d'utilisateur. Des opérations de détection d'AOI personnalisées sont prévues pour chaque type de lame. Si l'utilisateur entre un type de lame incorrect, les opérations consistent à détecter l'entrée incorrecte et à mettre en uvre le procédé qui convient. Le résultat de chaque opération de détection d'AOI donne comme sortie une image à pondération légère ayant des valeurs d'intensité de zéro à l'emplacement des pixels qui sont détectés comme n'appartenant pas à un tissu, et des valeurs d'intensité plus élevées attribuées à des pixels qui sont détectés comme appartenant probablement à des régions tissulaires.
