Abstract

L'invention concerne un bac de douche qui comprend un élément bac de douche et un élément siège, formés intégralement ou séparément et reliés l'un à l'autre. L'élément siège est formé afin de chevaucher une partie de l'élément bac de douche pendant l'installation. L'élément bac de douche comprend un orifice d'évacuation conçu pour s'adapter à un tuyau d'évacuation, de sorte que, lorsque le tuyau d'évacuation est fixé sur l'élément bac de douche, ledit tuyau d'évacuation s'étende de 1/2 pouce à 2 pouces au-dessus du fond de l'élément bac de douche. Ainsi, lorsque du ciment ou un autre adhésif flotte sur la surface intérieure du bac de douche, des carreaux de différentes épaisseurs peuvent être installés de sorte que la surface supérieure des carreaux affleure la partie supérieure du tuyau d'évacuation. L'élément bac de douche comprend également un réducteur de volume d'eau qui utilise de l'étain comme protection supplémentaire contre la migration de l'eau à l'extérieur du bac de douche.
