Abstract

L'invention concerne un groupe d'emballage (10) pour emballer des produits (P), en particulier des produits d'édition, dans des bandes de confinement (F), comprenant une structure de support (200) qui définit un plan d'avancement (201) et à laquelle sont associés un premier transporteur (11) pour transporter une pluralité de produits (P) les uns après les autres et espacés les uns des autres, le long du plan d'avancement (201) et le long d'une direction d'avancement (D), chaque produit d'édition (P) comprenant un livre et/ou un paquet de feuilles ou de produits en feuilles empilés les uns sur les autres, un dispositif de distribution (12) pour distribuer une pluralité de bandes de confinement (F) installées en longueur les unes après les autres et espacées les unes des autres le long d'un plan sensiblement transversal ou orthogonal à ladite direction d'avancement (D) et le long d'une direction de distribution (A) sensiblement transversale ou orthogonale au plan d'avancement (201) des produits (P), chacune desdites bandes de confinement (F) ayant, parallèle à la direction de distribution (A), une longueur qui est supérieure à la dimension que le produit respectif (P) a parallèle à ladite direction d'avancement (D), et chaque bande de confinement (F) étant interceptée par un produit (P) respectif avançant le long de la direction d'avancement (D) et pliée en deux par ce dernier sur un second transporteur (13), qui est aligné avec et a la même direction que le premier transporteur (11), pour former une poche en forme de U dans laquelle ledit produit (P) respectif est inséré et qui a une partie de bande inférieure, reposant sur le second transporteur (13) et sur laquelle le produit (P) respectif repose, et une partie de bande supérieure, reposant sur le produit (P) respectif, ladite partie de bande inférieure ou la partie de bande supérieure ayant un rabat (L) qui s'étend au-delà du produit (P) respectif et derrière ce dernier par rapport au sens d'avancement (B) du produit (P), ainsi inséré dans ladite poche en forme de U, le long de ladite direction d'avancement (D), et un dispositif de pliage et de fermeture (14) pour plier ledit rabat (L) respectivement sur la partie de bande supérieure ou sur la partie de bande inférieure.
