Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de libération prolongée ayant un élément de verrouillage monté de manière pivotante sur un montant à l'intérieur d'un frein à main et ayant un bras qui entre en contact avec un ensemble embrayage pour empêcher l'ensemble embrayage du frein à main d'embrayer une fois qu'il a été libéré manuellement. La rotation de la roue de frein à main amène un cliquet sur une roue à rochet à se déplacer en contact avec une came de l'élément de verrouillage de sorte que le bras de l'élément de verrouillage se déplace hors de contact avec l'ensemble embrayage. En maintenant l'ensemble embrayage dans une position libérée, le système de libération prolongée assure que le tambour de chaîne de frein est découplé de l'arbre d'entraînement du frein à main et empêche l'application par inadvertance des freins. Lorsqu'un utilisateur tourne la roue de frein à main, l'élément de verrouillage est libéré de l'ensemble embrayage et le frein à main peut être réglé par un utilisateur.
