Abstract
L'invention porte sur un système de transport Terreplane qui est un moyen de transport basé au sol composé de véhicules volants tirés par une ligne de propulsion. Une caractéristique de conception importante du système le plus préféré est que la ligne de propulsion subit uniquement des forces longitudinales pendant le vol rendant possibles des lignes de propulsion à faible coût. Un chariot de propulsion entre en prise avec la ligne de propulsion pour créer une accélération. Un bras de liaison relie le véhicule au chariot de propulsion, ainsi l'interaction cumulée comprend la capacité de convertir l'air d'impact et de débordement en sustentation avec commande pour permettre un vol régulé sur la base de la force longitudinale transportée à partir de la ligne de propulsion vers le chariot de propulsion. Le procédé d'acheminement préféré de la force longitudinale se fait par le biais de moteurs linéaires utilisant de nouvelles bobines longitudinalement asymétriques.
