Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de transmission comprenant : un générateur de paquet qui génère un paquet contenant un en-tête et une charge utile à partir d'un flux d'entrée comprenant une pluralité de paquets de flux de transport (TS) ; et un processeur de signaux qui traite des signaux du paquet. L'en-tête comprend un en-tête de base comprenant un premier champ indiquant un type de paquet qui correspond aux paquets TS et un deuxième champ indiquant un nombre de paquets TS inclus dans la charge utile. L'en-tête de base comprend en outre un troisième champ défini à une première valeur indiquant qu'il n'y a pas d'en-tête supplémentaire ou à une seconde valeur indiquant qu'il y a un en-tête supplémentaire. Lorsque le troisième champ est défini à la seconde valeur, l'en-tête supplémentaire comprend un quatrième champ indiquant un nombre de paquets nuls supprimés par rapport à chacun d'au moins un groupe de paquets TS contenant des paquets TS consécutifs. Les paquets nuls supprimés par rapport à chaque groupe de paquets TS précèdent un premier paquet TS ou suivent un dernier paquet TS inclus dans chacun des groupes de paquets TS.
