Abstract

Il est décrit des terpolymères et leur utilisation, lesdits terpolymères comprenant au moins un monomère non ionique, au moins un monomère anionique et au moins un monomère cationique. Ces terpolymères et les compositions contenant ceux-ci peuvent être utilisés en tant que floculants, par exemple, pour traiter des résidus tels que des résidus de sables bitumineux, pour faciliter la séparation de matières solides-liquides, par exemple, afin de recycler efficacement de l’eau et/ou de réduire le volume des résidus pouvant être transférés vers un bassin de résidus et/ou vers une zone d’élimination spécifique.
