Abstract
La présente invention concerne une fibre à section transversale composite âme-enveloppe, caractérisée en ce que le polymère de section d'âme est un polymère thermoplastique, le polymère de section enveloppe est un polyamide qui présente une unité acide dicarboxylique dont le composant principal est une unité acide sébacique, le taux de retrait à l'eau bouillante est de 6,0 à 12,0 %, et la contrainte par finesse unitaire durant un allongement de 3 % dans un essai de traction de fibre est de 0,60 cN/dtex ou plus. Une fibre à section transversale composite âme-enveloppe est ainsi proposée, ladite fibre présentant une excellente capacité d'absorption d'humidité et une excellente prévention des plis, et la capacité d'absorption d'humidité étant maintenue même lorsque la fibre est lavée.
