Abstract

Il est décrit un système de chenille pour la traction d’un véhicule (par exemple, une motoneige, un véhicule tout-terrain, etc.), qui comprend une chenille et un ensemble de mise en prise de chenille pour entraîner et guider la chenille autour de l’ensemble de mise en prise de chenille. La chenille peut comprendre un matériau de renforcement (par exemple, un matériau polymère de renforcement) qui est plus fort (par exemple, plus raide, plus dur et/ou plus résistant à l’usure) que le matériau élastomérique de la chenille, de sorte à améliorer les caractéristiques de rigidité de la chenille, à réduire le bruit généré par le système de chenille, à améliorer la résistance à l’usure de la chenille, à améliorer la gestion de la chaleur (par exemple, améliorer la dissipation thermique ou réduire l’accumulation de chaleur) dans la chenille et/ou à réduire le poids de la chenille. Le matériau de renforcement peut être fourni en une ou plusieurs couches minces constituant au moins une partie (par exemple d’une périphérie) d’une ou plusieurs composantes de la chenille (par exemple, la carcasse, les saillies de traction et/ou les tenons-guides ou tenons d’entraînement).
