Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé, un appareil et un système de traitement d'une source de déchets composites, tels que des déchets électroniques. La source de déchets composites peut comprendre des constituants à point de fusion faible, moyen et élevé, tels que des matières plastiques, des métaux et des céramiques. La source de déchets composites est chauffée dans une première zone de température, de manière à conduire au moins une partie des constituants à point de fusion faible à se transformer thermiquement au moins partiellement. La source de déchets composites est ensuite chauffée dans une deuxième zone de température, plus élevée, de façon à conduire au moins une partie des constituants à point de fusion moyen à se transformer thermiquement au moins partiellement. Au moins une partie des constituants au moins partiellement transformés thermiquement peuvent être récupérés. Le procédé, l'appareil et le système de l'invention peuvent permettre la récupération et la réutilisation de matériaux qui seraient autrement envoyés à la décharge ou incinérés.
