Abstract

Il est décrit un procédé pour les eaux de bassins de résidus de sables bitumineux dans lequel les eaux de bassins de résidus de sables bitumineux sont agrégées, puis transportées dans une canalisation principale aux fins dévacuation permanente au fond dun puits profond dans des gisements de gaz et/ou des aquifères salins épuisés. Le procédé offre la flexibilité de disposer des eaux touchées par des procédés de sables bitumineux, de leau de refroidissement recyclée, de leau de dépressurisation de mine, de résidus fins matures, de résidus fluides fins, de résidus fluides et de leau à teneur en matières en suspension totale élevée en plus de fournir une approche simple pour les exploitants de sables bitumineux.
