Abstract

Cette invention concerne un émetteur acoustique de fond de trou qui possède un transducteur piézoélectrique préchargé, une enceinte dans laquelle est logé le transducteur piézoélectrique, un ressort de précharge qui sollicite le transducteur contre un premier raccord d'extrémité de l'enceinte, et des moyens de précharge réglables montés sur l'enceinte de sorte qu'une force de compression sélectionnée soit appliquée au ressort de précharge, qui, à son tour, pousse le transducteur contre une face du premier raccord d'extrémité de telle sorte qu'une précharge mécanique est appliquée au transducteur. La position des moyens de précharge réglables et l'élasticité du ressort sont sélectionnées de sorte que le niveau de précharge mécanique appliqué au transducteur compense une quantité attendue de flexion de l'émetteur de télémétrie acoustique due à une tension et une compression variables appliquées à l'émetteur, ce qui permet de maintenir une précharge efficace sur le transducteur.
