Abstract

L'invention porte sur un appareil et un procédé pour un filtre à air de chauffage, ventilation et climatisation (HVAC) permettant l'élimination des contaminants moléculaires en suspension dans l'air et les composés organiques volatils (COV) de l'air dans les espaces résidentiels. Le filtre à air HVAC comprend un cadre de support ayant une forme et une dimension appropriées pour orienter le filtre à air à l'intérieur d'un système HVAC résidentiel. Un milieu filtrant est retenu dans le cadre de support pour éliminer les contaminants moléculaires en suspension dans l'air et les composés organiques volatils de l'air qui s'écoulent à travers le système HVAC résidentiel.
