Abstract

La présente invention fournit généralement un dispositif de traction remplaçant une roue qui emploie, pour la propulsion, une bande de traction se prolongeant longitudinalement autour dun pignon et coopérant avec ledit pignon, une structure de support et des poulies de tension de chenille et/ou des roues pour la route. La structure de support du dispositif de traction comprend une suspension indépendante remplaçant généralement la suspension du véhicule. En utilisation, la suspension du véhicule est remplacée par un élément rigide qui peut être ajustable en longueur dans un autre mode de réalisation. La présence dune suspension dans la structure de support du dispositif de traction diminue sa masse non suspendue.
