Abstract

Cette invention concerne une bande d'acier, une tôle ou une ébauche utilisée pour des pièces peintes, la bande d'acier, la tôle ou l'ébauche portant éventuellement un revêtement métallique. Selon l'invention, l'acier est un acier de type à ultra faible teneur en carbone (ULC) ayant la composition suivante (en % en poids) : C : max 0,007 ; Mn : max 1,2 ; Si : max 0,5 ; Al : max 0,1 ; P : max 0,15 ; S : de 0,003 à 0,045 ; N : max 0,01 ; Ti, Nb, Mo : Si Ti = 0,005 et Nb = 0,005 : 0,06 = 4Ti + 4 Nb + 2 Mo = 0,60 ; sinon, 0,06 = Ti +2Nb + 2 Mo = 0,60 ; et un ou plusieurs des éléments facultatifs suivants : Cu : max 0,10 ; Cr : max 0,06 ; Ni : max 0,08 ; B : max 0,0015 ; V: max 0,01 ; Ca : max 0,01 ; Co : max 0,01 ; Sn : max 0,01 ; pour obtenir un delta ondulation ?Wsa = 0,12 µm de la surface après formation de la bande, de la tôle ou de l'ébauche.
