Abstract

Il est décrit un emballage intérieur (1) d'un suremballage destiné à un tambour de 500 litres en vue du stockage de déchets radioactifs. L'emballage intérieur (1) comprend un cylindre (2) permettant de recevoir un tambour de 500 litres en vue du stockage de déchets radioactifs et une cage (10) entourant le cylindre (2). La cage (10) a une partie de base, une partie supérieure ayant au moins un point de levage (22) permettant de soulever l'emballage intérieur et des parties latérales s'étendant entre la partie de base et la partie supérieure. Le cylindre (2) est sensiblement cylindrique et est orienté de sorte que son axe principal cylindrique soit sensiblement parallèle à la partie de base et à la partie supérieure de la cage. Le cylindre (2) est structurellement relié à la cage (10) pour maintenir le cylindre (2) à l'intérieur de la cage (10).
