Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et une méthode de production de solutions de puissance commerciale de chlorhydrate d'aluminium. La méthode comprend la fourniture de poudre de monohydrate de chlorhydrate d'aluminium (ACHMH), le chauffage de l'eau à au moins 120°F et à moins de 200°F, et la dissolution d'au moins une partie de la poudre d'ACHMH dans l'eau chauffée pour former la solution de chlorhydrate d'aluminium. La solution produite de chlorohydrate d'aluminium à partir de la poudre d'ACHMH présente une concentration en oxyde d'aluminium allant d'environ 18 % en poids à environ 27 % en poids, a une basicité allant de plus de 74 % à moins de 83 %, et a un point de congélation allant d'environ 10°F à environ 16°F. La solution peut également avoir une teneur en fer comprise entre environ 0 et environ 70 ppm en tant que Fe.
