Abstract

La présente invention concerne des méthodes de traitement du cancer du sein comprenant l'administration de suspensions aqueuses comprenant du fulvestrant solubilisé, des particules de fulvestrant non solubilisées dont la granulométrie correspond à une ou plusieurs des valeurs suivantes: un Dv(10) en diffraction laser (LD) compris entre environ 1,5 et environ 2,1 microns, un Dv(50) en LD compris entre environ 5,5 et environ 9,0 microns, et un Dv(90) en LD compris entre environ 15 et environ 35 microns, les suspensions aqueuses comprenant en outre un tensioactif, une polyvinylpyrrolidone et un alcool de sucre, ainsi qu'un excipient hydrosoluble. L'excipient hydrosoluble peut être un aryl-Ci-6alk-OH, un Ci-6alkyl-OH, un sel à rôle de tampon, un polysorbate, un polyalkylène glycol, un Ci-i2alkylène glycol, une phosphatidylcholine, ou une combinaison de ces derniers.
