Abstract

Selon l'invention, une opération peut nécessiter l'isolation d'un puits de forage grâce à de multiples barrières. Un système à plusieurs barrières à un seul passage peut être déployé dans un puits de forage pour positionner une première barrière à une première profondeur et une deuxième barrière à une deuxième profondeur au-dessus de la première barrière dans le puits de forage pendant un seul passage d'une colonne tubulaire de puits de forage. La deuxième barrière est verrouillée jusqu'à ce que la première barrière soit installée indépendamment à la première profondeur pour empêcher la deuxième barrière d'être installée jusqu'à ce que la deuxième profondeur soit atteinte. L'installation des deux barrières en un seul passage augmente l'efficacité de l'exploitation, notamment en termes de réduction des coûts et du délai d'achèvement de l'opération.
