Abstract

Des stratégies sont décrites pour exécuter, en parallèle et/ou en série, des méthodes d’utilisation de réservoirs sur place en fin de vie (LLISR). Un LLISR peut être utilisé pour stocker de l’eau, des hydrocarbures (p. ex., le bitume dilué, les résidus et la saumure. De plus, un fluide de transfert thermique ou un autre fluide de travail de l’eau et/ou des hydrocarbures et/ou des non-hydrocarbures et/ou des phases gazeuses, avec toute gamme d’additifs dans les phases solides, liquides ou gazeuses, peuvent être entraînés dans le LLISR pour récupérer la chaleur résiduelle des procédés de récupération de bitume thermique. L’ordre et la sélection des opérations dans le LLISR peuvent être déterminés en fonction de la maturité du LLISR. Le LLISR peut aussi être utilisé pour le stockage temporaire d’eau et d’hydrocarbures et ensuite pour l’élimination des eaux usées, de la saumure et/ou des résidus. Une stratégie intégrée peut aussi partiellement comprendre une méthode de stockage d’eau dans un LLISR.
