Abstract

Des méthodes sont décrites pour récupérer le pétrole visqueux d’un réservoir souterrain mouillé par l’eau dans lequel sont installés au moins un puits d’injection et au moins un puits de production. La méthode peut comprendre l’établissement d’une communication fluide entre le puits d’injection et le puits de production et l’injection d’un fluide de travail en phase vapeur chauffée comprenant un oxyde de diméthyle en phase vapeur et de l’eau en phase vapeur au moyen du puits d’injection et la production d’un fluide de production au moyen du puits de production. L’eau en phase vapeur peut représenter 5 % ou moins d’un volume total du fluide de travail en phase vapeur chauffée par équivalent de volume liquide. Dans certains modes de réalisation, la méthode peut permettre des températures de service plus faibles que des procédés à base de vapeur typiques sans sacrifier le rendement de production d’hydrocarbures comme dans les procédés à base de solvant typiques. Des systèmes connexes sont aussi décrits.
