Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil qui sert à saisir un câble destiné à être introduit dans un trou de forage dans une surface d'une galerie de mine en liaison avec un actionneur, tel qu'un mât de forage ayant un chariot pouvant être avancé et rétracté le long du mât de forage. Un élément pousseur est formé d'une paire de mâchoires destinées à venir en prise avec le câble. Les mâchoires peuvent être sollicitées vers une première position pour venir en prise avec le câble pendant une avance du chariot, et se déplacer automatiquement vers une deuxième position pour libérer le câble pendant une rétraction du chariot. L'élément pousseur peut être monté de manière pivotante sur un chariot pouvant être avancé et rétracté le long d'un mât de forage, lequel mouvement peut amener les mâchoires à s'actionner de manière automatique pour venir en prise avec le câble et faire avancer le câble pendant une course ascendante et le libérer pendant une course descendante. L'invention concerne également des procédés associés.
