Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de redressage d'un matériau en fil ou en bande au moyen d'un dispositif de dressage comprenant des rouleaux redresseurs (3, 4, 6, 10) qui agissent de manière décalée sur des côtés opposés du matériau (1) passant à travers le dispositif et dont certains sont ajustés automatiquement, en fonction d'un modèle basé sur des données d'entrée du matériau et des données du fil et du dispositif de dressage déterminées de manière stochastique lors du passage du matériau à travers le dispositif de dressage, afin de satisfaire aux exigences de rectitude. La position d'au moins un rouleau redresseur est adaptée en continu sur la base des données mentionnées qui sont enregistrées lors du passage dans le dispositif de dressage et qui sont représentatives de la rectitude obtenue, (i) l'intensité et la direction des forces agissant sur les rouleaux redresseurs et/ou (ii) la température du matériau avant et après le passage à travers l'ensemble des rouleaux redresseurs et/ou (iii) la position du matériau étant mesurées à la suite de chacun des rouleaux redresseurs et les valeurs mesurées obtenues étant introduites dans le modèle commandant les rouleaux redresseurs réglables.
