Abstract
Une méthode pour traiter un courant de résidus dun procédé dextraction de bitume des sables bitumineux. La méthode consiste à a) ajouter un floculant et un liant au courant de résidus pour former des résidus traités; b) déshydrater les résidus traités pour former des résidus déshydratés en effectuant ce qui suit : i) dépôt de résidus traités en formant des couches et déshydratation initiale, séchage atmosphérique, et renforcement au moyen de lévaporation pour former les résidus déshydratés; ou ii) déshydratation mécanique pour former les résidus déshydratés; et c) ajouter un coagulant aux résidus traités pour créer des réactions pouzzolaniques entre les étapes a) et b) ou à létape b).
