Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble outil à rotation d'alimentation élevée bidirectionnelle (10) comprenant un porte-outil (14), un insert de coupe (12) et un élément de serrage (16) fixant l'insert de coupe (10) au porte-outil (14). L'insert de coupe (12) comprend un bord de coupe actif (24A, 24B, 24C) ayant une partie bord (34) la plus avant située au centre et des première et seconde parties bord principales (36A, 36B) s'étendant vers l'arrière à partir de la partie bord (34) la plus avant, ainsi que latéralement jusqu'à une étendue plus éloignée que les côtés d'outil de flanc (46, 48) du porte-outil (14). Les première et seconde parties bord principales (36A, 36B) peuvent également présenter chacune un angle d'immersion relativement faible (K1, K2) facilitant la rotation d'alimentation élevée dans deux directions latérales (DS1, DS2).
