Abstract

L'invention concerne une arbalète comportant un système de stockage d'énergie conçu pour stocker l'énergie lorsque la corde de l'arbalète est complètement armée, et pour libérer au moins une partie de l'énergie stockée lorsqu'on appuie sur une détente libérant la corde. L'énergie stockée est définie par une zone se situant sous une courbe de puissance ou une courbe de tension de l'arbalète. La courbe de puissance est définie par la force nécessaire pour tendre la corde de l'arbalète, d'une position non armée à la position armée. Entre la position non armée et une position intermédiaire, la force nécessaire pour tendre la corde est sensiblement proportionnelle à la distance de mise en tension. Entre la position intermédiaire et la position armée, la force nécessaire pour tendre la corde est sensiblement constante. Lorsque la corde armée est libérée, au moins une partie de l'énergie stockée est transférée sous la forme d'énergie cinétique d'un(e) flèche ou carreau placé(e) sur la corde armée.
