Abstract

L’invention concerne un mat fibreux non tissé revêtu qui comprend un mat précurseur non tissé comprenant une pluralité de fibres orientées de manière aléatoire liées par une composition de liant précurseur. Le mat précurseur fibreux non tissé a une première surface principale et une seconde surface principale à l’opposé de la première surface et ayant une rugosité de surface supérieure à celle de la première surface, définissant une épaisseur entre elles. Une composition de revêtement est appliquée sur la seconde surface principale du mat précurseur non tissé et pénètre sensiblement uniformément de 5 % à moins de 30 % de l’épaisseur du mat précurseur non tissé. La composition de revêtement comprend une charge minérale et une composition de liant de type latex organique. La composition de revêtement est appliquée sur le mat précurseur non tissé en une quantité comprise entre 1,0 et 10,0 livres/100 pieds2.
