Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de formation d'un logement de lentille contenant une lentille polymère, le procédé consistant à introduire un mandrin, comportant une face distale dotée de caractéristiques négatives de la lentille polymère souhaitée, dans un cylindre, et à remplir un réservoir, formé entre la face distale et une extrémité distale du cylindre, d'un matériau de lentille polymère durcissable. Le matériau de lentille polymère durcissable est durci en place à l'intérieur du réservoir, formant ainsi la lentille polymère souhaitée. La surface proximale de la lentille polymère est formée et façonnée par la face distale du mandrin, tandis que la surface distale de la lentille polymère dépend de la quantité du matériau de lentille polymère durcissable placé dans le réservoir, et du volume du réservoir.
