Abstract

La présente invention concerne un joint d’étanchéité destiné à empêcher la séparation d’un raccord de tuyaux formé entre des tuyaux en matière plastique tels que des tuyaux en PVC. L'invention concerne un raccord de tuyaux à retenue interne comprenant une tulipe ayant une rainure annulaire sensiblement en forme de V. La rainure annulaire comprend une paroi radiale avant et une paroi radiale arrière et un joint d’étanchéité siégeant dans la rainure annulaire. Le joint d’étanchéité comprend une face radiale interne, une ouverture délimitée par la face radiale interne et une face externe radiale pourvue d’une section radiale avant adjacente à la paroi radiale avant de la rainure annulaire et d’une section radiale arrière située à proximité de la paroi radiale arrière de la rainure annulaire. Une pluralité de segments de retenue rigides dentés est au moins partiellement encastrée dans le joint d’étanchéité.
