Abstract

Sont divulgués des systèmes, des procédés et des supports lisibles par machine non transitoires pour une surveillance à distance et pour détecter qu'un essieu de wagon de chemin de fer est dans un état d'instabilité conformément à des modes de réalisation de l'invention. Dans un ou plusieurs modes de réalisation donnés à titre d'exemple, un dispositif permet de détecter un état d'instabilité d'un essieu de wagon de chemin de fer qui comprend un dispositif de commande ayant un ou plusieurs processeurs, un réseau de données, un accéléromètre et une mémoire stockant des instructions exécutables qui, lorsqu'elles sont exécutées par le ou les processeurs, amènent le dispositif de commande à obtenir d'une accélération d'accéléromètre des données d'accélération indiquant une accélération latérale d'un wagon de chemin de fer, à stocker les données d'accélération dans le réseau de données, à déterminer de multiples écarts-types de lectures d'accéléromètre sur la base des données d'accélération stockées dans le réseau de données, et à fournir une indication selon laquelle un essieu du wagon de chemin de fer est dans un état d'instabilité sur la base d'au moins l'un des écarts-types de lectures d'accéléromètre satisfaisant à un seuil d'écart-type.
