Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire une pâte fibreuse chimico-thermomécanique à partir de matières premières végétales non ligneuses, le procédé comprenant les étapes de préparation préliminaire de feuilles, de traitement chimico-thermomécanique des matières premières préparées au préalable, de broyage d'une pâte semi-fibreuse et partiellement délignifiée pour produire la pâte fibreuse chimico-thermomécanique, la préparation préliminaire des matières premières initiales comprenant en outre le pressage de feuilles déchiquetées, la plastification et le ramollissement des feuilles préparées au préalable étant effectués par leur frottement mécanique et le traitement avec une vapeur chauffée sous pression, la délignification des matières premières plastifiées et molles étant effectuée par leur mélange sous pression à une pression d'au moins 3,5 atms à une température de 70 à 120 °C en présence d'un hydroxyde de métal alcalin ou sous la forme d'une solution ou d'un aérosol présentant une concentration alcaline de 3 % au plus, et le broyage étant effectué en présence d'acide acétique d'une concentration de 3 % au plus.
