Abstract

Le traitement d'un tissu endommagé, malade, anormal, obstructif, cancéreux ou non souhaité (par exemple une tumeur, une tumeur bénigne, une tumeur maligne, un kyste, ou une région de tissu malade, etc.) est obtenu par administration d'énergie de champ électrique pulsé (PEF) spécialisé à des zones tissulaires cibles selon un dosage spécifique de façon à obtenir un meilleur résultat. L'énergie de PEF et l'administration ont été optimisées pour obtenir un traitement de pointe de zones tissulaires cibles, notamment la destruction de tissu non souhaité et la génération de réponses inflammatoires et immunitaires améliorées. Ces différents types de traitement sont commandés par une variété de facteurs comprenant la géométrie de l'électrode, la dose d'énergie de PEF administrée, le temps durant lequel l'énergie est administrée et la forme d'onde de l'énergie de PEF elle-même. L'énergie de PEF est administrée sous la forme d'une dose qui est considérée comme étant une application de l'énergie spécialisée. Chaque dose crée une lésion dans la zone tissulaire cible.
