Abstract

L’invention concerne un système d’amortissement composite comprenant une couche de ressorts hélicoïdaux, une couche de surmatelas et une enveloppe entourant la totalité de celui-ci. Le surmatelas est divulgué dans un mode de réalisation parmi plusieurs modes de réalisation. Un premier mode de réalisation comprend une couche élastomère disposée entre une couche de mousse inférieure et une couche de tissu supérieure, le tout étant maintenu ensemble avec un aspect touffeté à l’aide d’une pluralité de boutons. Un deuxième mode de réalisation comprend une couche élastomère de surface plus petite à l’intérieur d’une bordure en mousse et recouverte par une couche de tissu-mousse. Un troisième mode de réalisation comprend une couche élastomère enfermée dans une enveloppe en tissu. Un quatrième mode de réalisation comprend une couche élastomère fusionnée par fonte avec une couche de mousse inférieure bordée par une structure de support. Un cinquième mode de réalisation comprend des couches élastomères supérieure et inférieure formées autour d’une couche de tissu intermédiaire, la couche de tissu s’étendant à partir du bord des couches élastomères, la couche de tissu en excès étant maintenue entre des bordures de mousse supérieure et inférieure correspondantes.
