Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass eine als Pig ment-, wie als Küpenfarbstoff von hervor- ragcn.den Echtheitseigenschaften benutzbare Verbindung erhalten wird, wenn man das durch Kondensation von 2.3-Dichlor-1.4- naplitochinon mit 1.2-Diamino-4-methylben- zol erhältliche Eurhodol mit 2 . 3-Dic-hlor 1 .
4-naplitochinon bei Gegenwart von Metal len und eines salzsäurebindenden Mittels er hitzt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 28,5 Teile des Eurhodols, erhalten aus 2 . 3-Dialilor-1 . 4-naphtochinon und 1. 3-Dia- niino-4-rrietliylben7ol werden mit 23 Teilen 2 . ; - Dichlor-1 . 4 - naphtochinon, 15 Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumacetat, 12 Teilen Kup ferbronze und 80 Teilen Nitrobenzol auf 140 erhitzt. Das Lösungsmittel wird mit Dampf abgeblasen. Der gereinigte und vom Kupfer befreite, gelbe Farbstoff färbt Baumwolle aus der Hydrosulfitküpe gelb.
