Description
Air-cooled plug contact. e5 The invention relates to an air-cooled plug contact in which the contact pins and contact sleeves consist of tubes open at both ends, and each contact pin with its contact sleeve and holes in the plug , as well as the socket together each forms a continuous channel through which the air as coolant can pass freely.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 shows the air-cooled connector in a vertical section and FIG. 2 shows this connector in a front view.
In the socket 1 of the plug-in contact, which is made of insulating material, sits the tubular contact sleeve 2, to which the lead 3 is conductively attached by the contact screw 4. The diameter of the screw 4 is kept as small as possible so that the air can easily pass through the channel 5 .
The plug 6 made of insulating material contains the likewise roller-shaped, contact pin 7 on which the cable 8 through the contact screw 9 is conductively connected. The parts 2 and 7 together with the bores 5 in the plug and the socket form continuous channels through which the air as coolant can pass freely.
As can be seen, the line line 8 is led out laterally at an acute angle to the axis from the socket 6 at 1.0 , and one in the direction of the opening 10 A subsequent train would not only result in no separation between the two contact parts, but also force the plug into the lower part more strongly.
Fastening holes 11 are provided in the flanges on both sides of the lower part 1 . The screw 12 is used to hold the two halves of the two-part socket 6. together
Of course, the plug contact can also be designed for more than two poles.
