Fig. l zeigt die Schleifcinrichtung im Längsschnitt ;
Fig. 2 zeigt ein Anwendungsbeispiel auf einer Fräsmaschine ;
Internal grinding device on machine tools with rotating hollow spindle.
The subject matter of the present invention is an internal grinding device on machine tools with a rotating spindle. in which the workpiece does not rotate and the rotating seble disc rotates in its bore. The device can be used on machine tools with rotating hollow spindle, such as lathes, milling machines,
Drilling machines or boring mills.
An embodiment of the present invention is shown in the drawing in three figures.
Fig. 1 shows the grinding device in longitudinal section;
Fig. 2 shows an example of application on a milling machine;
FIG. 3 shows the grinding device in cross section along line A-B of FIG.
The internal grinding device consists of the body a, which is provided on one side with a thread for screwing onto the hollow spindle c of a machine tool. The body a and the spindle c are thus firmly connected to one another and have the same center axis m. The body a has an obliquely eccentric bore with the center axis o on the opposite side of the thread. This bore carries the sleeve b. The bore of the sleeve b has the central axis n, which is eccentric to the axis o at the same angle as the central axis m to o.
The sleeve b forms the bearing of the shaft d, on the outer end of which the grinding wheel g sits. Since the outer end of the shaft d is eccentric to the central axis fil, the center point of the grinding wheel y must describe a circle when the spindle c rotates with body a. This circular movement can be increased or decreased by twisting the sleeve b in the body a, whereby the outer end of the shaft d moves away from or approaches the center axis w. The adjusting screw h is used to hold the sleeve b.
The grinding wheel g with shaft d is set in rotation by itself7, t by means of the belt pulley f, which sits on shaft e. The shaft e passes through the bore of the spindle c and is connected to the shaft d through the articulated coupling j. The connection of the waves e and d is made possible by the fact that the center axes m, o and n intersect at point i in every position. The drive of the grinding wheel shaft @ is thus independent of the drive of the spindle c.
An example of application on a milling machine is shown by FIG. 2.
The grinding device is screwed onto the spindle c of the milling machine 1, and the work piece k to be ground out is fastened to the table of the same. The apparatus is then adjusted to the desired diameter by turning the sleeve b in the body a and fixed by means of the adjusting screw 71. When the milling machine is set in motion, the entire apparatus rotates with the spindle c, whereby the center of the grinding wheel g describes a circle. At the same time, the grinding wheel g is set in rotation by a belt on the belt pulley /.
If the work piece @ is pushed over the apparatus by means of the slide, its bore is grinded g genou cylindrically by the rotating grinding wheel.
