Machine to varnish pearls. The present invention relates to a machine to varnishing pearls, which comprises two flanges connected parallel at a certain distance from each other on an axis, rotary horizontal and between which are held parallel and at equal distance therefrom the threads carrying the beads to varnish, threads arranged above a tray containing the ver ni, said rotary members being supported by a movable frame which can be lowered and raised alternately in order to varnish the pearls by dipping them in the aforesaid tank.
The appended drawing represents, to by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a cross section; Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section. The machine shown comprises a frame 1 articulated on an axis 2.
This frame supports the horizontal rotary axis 3 which carries the flanges 4 and a shaft 5 on which are wedged a control pulley 6 and pinions 7 and 8 meshing with toothed crowns 9 resp. 10, carried by drums He resp. 12, turning crazy on axis 3.
A counterweight 13 serves to balance this assembly and the drive belt 14 passes over the pulleys (the return 15 and 16 </ B> carried by the frame 1.
Between the flanges 4, mounted parallel at a certain distance from each other, are tended at equal distance from the axis 3, threads 19 receiving the beads and hooked to rods 20 and 21 which can rotate freely between these flanges.
These rods are respectively integral with pinions 22 and 23 which mesh with toothed rings 24 resp. 25, , carried by the drums 11. and 12.
In this way, these drums being put in continuous rotation by the shaft 5, the threads supporting the beads are also animated by a continuous rotational movement.
Stops 17 make it possible to adjust the descent of the flanges 4 so that the beads come to plunge suitably into the varnish contained in a tank 18. The oscillations of the frame 1 around axis 2 are obtained by means of a lever 26; a second lever, 27, actuating a lever 28 makes it possible to rotate the flanges 4 by means of a crown 29 forming a roehet.
The pitch of the teeth of this crown corresponds to the distance between two rows of beads and, as is provided, a to ball stopper 30 engaging under the pressure of a res comes out in the notches 31 of one -of the flanges 4. each movement -of the lever 27 brings a new row of beads exactly in the axis of the tray 18 and just press the 26 lever to get them immersed in the varnish.
The 18 spout is fed by a 32 container fitted with a constant level supply device 33.
