Description

Automatic lifting system. In the case of very large lifting systems that are supposed to start quickly, it is very useful to arrange an auxiliary lifter whose air space is as small as possible and which therefore starts up quickly in order to then serve as an assistant for sucking the air out of the main lifter.

The auxiliary jack is also of great advantage when the underwater level changes significantly. So that the water jet, which carries the air out of the siphon hose, can safely discharge the air bubbles around the discharge edge from the inside of the siphon, the siphon must only be able to submerge it a little when the siphon starts itself, and the lower section must therefore be above the highest underwater level be placed. If the UW fluctuates significantly, the lifter always loses a considerable incline in the long periods of normal UW level, which has often forbidden the use of the lifter at all, for example at weirs in rivers, where this occurs during the short flood periods Gradient at the weir is reduced to a low minimum.

The purpose of the present invention is to give the lifter the greatest possible incline in each individual case and still ensure that it starts up automatically and that it controls the jam even with the smallest incline. This is achieved by arranging for a volunteer to be put into operation; whose outlet is above the highest underwater level.

The two jacks can be arranged side by side or one inside the other and their jack spaces are more or less closely connected above the higher outlet edge, while their hoses open out below this outlet edge separated by the water closures. The, preferably smaller, lifter with a high outlet edge serves as an auxiliary lifter for starting up the, ideally larger, lifter with a lower outlet edge, i.e. greater gradient.

For example, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawing. Fig. 1 and 2 show a form of such new systems in which the two lifters are nested, namely Fig. 2 shows the horizontal section at height I-I, and Fig. 1 the vertical section at II-II. The partition walls w between the main jack and the auxiliary jack only extend upwards to section 1-I, so that their hoses are connected to each other above the latter, i.e. also above the lower immersion edge (outlet) f of the auxiliary jack, but are completely separated from each other below are.

When the underwater has reached its highest level (H. U. W.), an automatic starting of the big main jack alone and thereby a congestion regulation by it would be completely excluded. After the arrangement of the auxiliary lifter, which is in open connection with the main lifter above the walls w, however, with a low translation of the overflow crown K, the air from both jacks, which is then closed off from the outside, is jetted around the outlet by the overflow beam falling on the projection v in a known manner . H. transported to the outside around f, until both lifters are in full operation, or until the outside air enters at a as a result of lowering the 0W level. The congestion regulation is ensured again.

In all cases where a quick start is not so important, even at the lowest underwater level (N. U. W.) the self-venting of the main jack around the edge F can be dispensed with and the auxiliary jack is responsible for the automatic start-up. The large lifter can then of course get the hydrau cally cheaper hose guide without a projection, as can be seen in phantom in FIG.

Instead of one small slope lifter, several can of course also be arranged with the same or different slopes in the large lifter or next to it.

Except that the auxiliary jack makes the main jack suitable for the changing UW level and the main jack for regulating different head water levels. Up to now, all of the lifts had to be adjusted in height to achieve this purpose. In the system described below, only the auxiliary lifter is set up to regulate various 0. W. levels, while the main lifter remains stationary. Fig. 3 shows in longitudinal section, Fig. 4 in cross section III-III such an auxiliary lifter.

The shooter c on the auxiliary jack A is set with its upper edge on the water feature 0. W.1; the valve d on the air supply pipe e, the lower edge of which is approximately level with the water level O.1 V.1, is set to "open".

As soon as the water level rises so high that the opening of the air supply pipe e is closed by it, the water jet flowing over the upper edge of the contactors activates the lifter. The shutdown takes place when the water level falls 0. W. and the pipe e is open again.

If the gate c is lowered so that its upper edge comes to rest on the water level 0. W.2, and if the valve d on the air pipe e is closed, then a siphon is created in which the suction nozzle 82 takes over the control.

If the siphon is to be adjusted for water levels between the drawn 0. Whale and 0. W.2, then an air supply pipe e with valve d must be arranged for each of them, or, what is more expedient: Es a ver sliding tube r is installed according to Figure 5, which can be adjusted for any altitude; such a tube is closed by the throttle valve i.

The . Mechanism for moving the tubular sleeve r can be of any type and is therefore not specified in the drawing.

Finally, according to FIG. 6, it can also be arranged in front of the permanently installed, on the highest water contactor m over the partial or entire width of the lifter.

In Fig. 6, the shooters m and c are drawn in the lowest position, and the lifter is thus set for the water level 0. W.2 a. Instead of the contactors c and m, flaps or the like can of course also be selected, and instead of the round tube e, a tube with any cross-section and any locking device can be selected.

The auxiliary jack is connected to the main jack B, which in turn can consist of several chambers, through a number of holes g; the individual chambers of the main jack are in turn connected by holes in the partition walls or by pieces of pipe, so that when starting The air is sucked out of all the chambers of the main jack by the auxiliary jack. The crown K of the main jack is approximately at the level of the water level 0. W.1 and its snout S2 is approximately at the level of the water level 0. W.2.

The auxiliary lifter can of course also be arranged in a suitable location at some distance from the main lifter and connected to it through a correspondingly long pipeline.
