Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     indigolden        Farbstoffes    der     Anthra-cenreihe.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man einen neuen       indigoiden    Farbstoff der     Anthracenreihe    er  hält, wenn man die     2-3-AntliracIiinonthio-          glykolka,rbonsä,ure    mit     a-Isatinanilid    kon  densiert.  



  Der neue Farbstoff ist in Schwefelsäure  mit grüner Farbe löslich; mit Wasser wird  er in Form blauer Flocken     ausgefällt.    Er  bildet mit     Hydrosulfit    und Natronlauge eine       olivebraune        Küpe,    aus welcher Baumwolle  in vollen, echten, 'blauen Tönen gefärbt  wird.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>35</B> Teile 2     -3-Antl-iraeliinontllioglykol-          karbonsäure    werden mit<B>25</B> Teilen     a-Isatin-          anilid,   <B>10</B> Teilen entwässertem     Natrium-          aeetat    und<B>300</B> Teilen     Essigsäureanhydrid     mehrere Stunden am     Rückflusse    gekocht.  Es findet dabei Bildung eines     Küpenfarb-          stoffes    statt, welcher sieh als blaues, kristal-         lines    Pulver abscheidet. Er wird nach dem  Erkalten     abfiltriert   <B>und</B> mit Eisessig und  Wasser nachgewaschen.



  Process for the production of an indigolden dye of the anthracene series. It has been found that a new indigoid dye of the anthracene series is obtained if the 2-3-anthracinonthio-glycolic acid is condensed with α-isatin anilide.



  The new dye is soluble in sulfuric acid with a green color; with water it is precipitated in the form of blue flakes. With hydrosulphite and caustic soda, it forms an olive-brown vat from which cotton is dyed in full, genuine, blue tones.



  <I> Example: </I> <B> 35 </B> parts of 2 -3-antl-iraeliinontllioglycolcarboxylic acid are mixed with <B> 25 </B> parts of a-isatin anilide, <B> 10 </ B> parts of dehydrated sodium acetate and <B> 300 </B> parts of acetic anhydride refluxed for several hours. A vat dye is formed, which is deposited as a blue, crystalline powder. After cooling, it is filtered <B> and </B> washed with glacial acetic acid and water.

PATENTANSPRUCH: -Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen indigoiden Fa.rbstoffes der Anthracenreihe, dadurch gekennzeiclinet, dass die 2 -3-An- thrachinonthioglykolkarbo#nsä,ure mit a-Isa- tinanalid kondensiert wird.
