Description

  La     fig.    1 représente une vue en     .plan    de  l'ensemble d'une machine avec les différents  appareils;  La     fig.    2 est une vue en perspective du       dispositif        .actionnant    d'une façon intermit  tente la table circulaire;      La fi-. 3 est une     vue    en perspective du  dispositif de verrouillage de la table     circu-          laire;     La     fig.    4 est une vue en perspective du       dispositif    qui commande le mouvement inter  mittent des appareils distributeurs de la. ma  tière colorée;

    La     fig.    5 est une vue d'ensemble mon  trant en     perspective    le mécanisme de com  mande d'un appareil distributeur     @de    la     ma-          fière    colorée;  La fis. 6 est une vue en perspective d'un  appareil distributeur de matière colorée, le  récipient servant à     transporter    la matière à       partir    -du distributeur vers le moule étant  placé en dessous de la trémie;

Mobile table machine for the production of ceramic tiles with inlaid designs. The invention relates to movable table machines for the manufacture of eramic tiles with inlaid designs. In these machines, the mobile table, on which the tile being manufactured is carried, is driven by an intermittent movement which successively brings the tile .aux appropriate apparatus to @ ch.acune closed operations necessary for its manufacture.

During the manufacture of these tiles with designs in several colors, the mixing of the different colored materials composing the design is prevented by partitioning the model frame, which is divided into different boxes by thin vertical walls which follow all the contours of the pattern. drawing.

For the introduction of each colored material into the corresponding parts of the model, use is made of a counter-model. This consists of a plate which is placed above the model, it is pierced with openings of appropriate dimensions which allow the colored material to be distributed to pass through, but only in certain places, the other .parties. of the model being ob tured by said plate.

The present invention aims to facilitate this distribution .des different colored pul verulent materials and -de pulverulent material = slow @constituent the mass of bone tiles.

The following machine is fitted with apparatus for dispensing the pulverulent material: each comprising a fixed hopper containing the material and an adjustable mechanism for dispensing the material, pouring the latter into a mobile container which brings it to the mold containing the tile in manufacture.

The attached drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention, which in this case is a circular table machine.

  Fig. 1 shows a plan view of the whole of a machine with the various devices; Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the device for intermittently operating the circular table; The fi-. 3 is a perspective view of the locking device of the circular table; Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the device which controls the intermittent movement of the dispensing devices of the. my colored matter;

    Fig. 5 is a general view showing in perspective the control mechanism of an apparatus for dispensing the colored matter; The fis. 6 is a perspective view of an apparatus for dispensing colored material, the container for conveying the material from the dispenser to the mold being placed below the hopper;

Fig. 7 is a perspective view a.na.- logue to FIG. 6, the container having moved away from the hopper and having reached the end of its travel; The fis. 8 is. a perspective view of a finasse dispensing apparatus, the sieve container being placed below the hopper; Fig. 9 is a view analogous to figure 8, with the sieve vessel placed below the mold.

The circular table 1 (fig, 1) is driven by an intermittent rotational movement which successively brings the mold 2 in front of the various devices where the various operations required are carried out. tile making.

These operations include: the. disposal of the models in the mold by a worker placed at location A in FIG. 1, the successive distribution (the different colors yes places B 1 to B 5. the removal of the models by a worker placed in C, the introduction of the material constituting the mass of a D-tile, E-pressing, release and removal of the finished T-tile.

The plateau of the. table is composed cl-, segments in which are embedded frames made of double molds.

The rotating plate 1 on balls is provided internally with notches 3 (fig. 1) in each of which periodically enters a pawl 4 carried by a lever 5. This lever 5 is joined by a rod 6 to an actuated crank 7 by means of a bevel gear 8, by the motor shaft 9 and produces the intermittent advance of the table 1.

A latch 10 (fig. 3.) controlled by a cam 11 mounted on the motor shaft 9 wedges the table at the moment when one of the molds, after a certain angular displacement, came to be placed under one of the devices where s' perform. the operations.

With particular regard to the distribution of colored materials, a special device has been provided for each colored material used, these various devices B 1 to. B 5 all having a similar arrangement and operation, it suffices to describe one of them.

The reserve of colored material is contained in a hopper 1? fixed to the frame 13 of the. machine (fig. 5). The amount needed to. the.

manufacture of each pair (the tiles are poured out periodically by means of a df- dosing mechanism located at the lower part of this hopper, in a mobile container 11 which brings it beneath the mold .'_.

The bottom of the container consists of a plate 15 on which it moves.

In the part of this plate located above the place where the various molds are successively placed, an opening is made in which the counter-model 16 is housed - the cutout of which corresponds to the part of the drawing to be made by the mold. . color.

When the. container 14 passes over the @ countermoclile 16, la. colored matter which it contains is flowing through. through the latter, in the corresponding boxes of the model. By the fact that the receptacle 1.1 slides on the upper face of the counter-model, it has penetrated into the mold the material which has not yet fallen there.

During operations, said counter-nrodele descends inside the mold. It is then pulled out, in order to allow the advance of the table.

The movement: of elevation and ii.liaisse- inent of the counter-model 16 is achieved by printing the plate 15, in which it is housed, reciprocating movements from bottom to top. It goes without saying that the container 14 follows these vertical movements.

As regards the dosing mechanism mentioned above, it comprises, below the hopper 12, a chamber 17 which is separated therefrom by a drum 18, in which grooves 19 are formed. a -determined amplitude of this drum ensures the penetration into this chamber of a determined quantity of colored material. This chamber 17 is closed at its lower part by a movable cover 20 which is open when the movable container 14 is located below said -chambre.

In this; Indeed, this .cover pivoted at 54, is provided with an arm 55 provided with a roller 56 that the wall of the container 14 pushes back as soon as it comes to. near bedroom 17.

At this point, the colored material that the drum 18 has. allowed to pass into the chamber, pours into said container.

When the container moves away from said chamber 17, a counterweight 58 brings the cover back into its closed position.

11 is. therefore place to perform in said dispensing device the following movements 10 [1n back and forth movement of the receptacle 14; 20 One movement, raising and lowering of the plate 15: 3rd One movement, intermittent rotation of the dosing drum 16.

These three movements are controlled by means of a shaft = 21 animated by an oscillating movement (fig. 5).

On this shaft is, wedged an arm 22 connected by a pin 93 to the flanges 24 fixed to the container 14.

This arm 22 is provided with a cam 25 which can act by means of a roller 26 on a lever 27 pivoted at 28 and from which is suspended at 29 a frame 30 which carries the plate 15 by means of plates 31 An adjustment screw is used to determine the height of the countermodel's elevation. In order to absorb the shocks resulting from the displacement of these parts, (the springs 32 are interposed between said lever 27 and the frame 30.

On the shaft 21 is also wedged an arm 33 connected by a connecting rod 34 to a shaft 35 pivoted at 36 and carrying a pawl 37, acting on a ratchet wheel 38.

The latter transmits its movement to the drum 18 by the toothed wheels 39, 40 and 41.

With a view to: regulating the flow of the colored material, the drum 18 is commanded by a series of gears of various sizes (39, 40, and 41) which are themselves> controlled by the ratchet 38 whose amplitude of movements is variable.

The various colored material distribution devices are placed side by side around the table 1. The shafts 21 are connected to one another by means of ionic toothed wheels 53 (fig. 4). One of these shafts, that of the device B 5, is actuated by means of a cam 47 wedged on the motor shaft 9.

To this end, a button 48 fixed to a lever 49 slides in the groove 50 of said cam formed so as to allow this button to remain stationary during the entire time the table is moving and, on the contrary, to be animated. of a vertical back and forth movement when the table is stationary.

Movement. of the lever 49 is transmitted to the shaft 21 by means of the rod 51 articulated on the arm 52 wedged on said .arbre.

The apparatus: for the distribution of. mass, placed at location D in fig. 1, is used, after removing the model, to fill the mold at the bottom of which are the colored materials.

The mass reserve is contained in a hopper 60 fixed - <you frame 13 of the machine (fig. 8). The amount needed for the. manufacture of ch: alque pair (the tiles are periodically discharged, via a metering chamber 61, into a receptacle 63, which brings the mass above the mold 2.

When the container 63 arrives above the mold, the. .mass which it contains falls through the meshes of the sieve 62, under the effect of the shaking due to it prints a device.

As regards the chamber of, losabe 61, this is placed alternately in coin- munication with the hopper 60 and the sieve receptacle, by means of a register mechanism, comprising two sheets 65 and 66, one of which constitutes the bottom (the diameter 61 when the sieve container 63 is placed above the mold ('fi-.

   8) and the other of which constitutes the bottom il, - the hopper 60 when the sieve receptacle 6 3 c-t placed below the. chamber 61 (fig. 9).

The register mechanism is shifted, this in an alternating rectilinear movement under the tre.- iiiii = 60. involving: in this movement the sieve receptacle 63 which is integral with it.

This alternative displacement is achieved by the rotation of an elbow shaft 68 controlled by the intermediary of the toothed wheel 69 of the. chain 70 by the motor shaft 9. The shaft 68 transmits, # oii movement to the frame 80 on which the plates 65 and 66 are fixed, by means of the connecting rod 71. </ B> swiveling in 72.

Said register mechanism is supported by the U-shaped @ \ L11de, 73 on which they roll. by means of rollers 7.1.

The connection of the sieve container to the register mechanism is effected by means of springs 75 which connect the two faces 76 of the container 63 to the partitions 77 attached to the. sheet G !; by the angles 78. The springs 75 allow the oscillation of the container 63, when the latter is subjected to the jolts imposed on it by the device 61, comprising a piston 81 which strikes the wall 76 of the sieve container 63.

In the. sheet 66 is provided an opening @ -vrsée in the form of (the hopper which facilitates the discharge of the material into the receptacle 63.

The squeegee 7 7 slides on the upper face 59 of the table 1. And the. get rid of - thus - anything that could have spread over her.

On leaving the mass-distributing apparatus, the tiles pass through the apparatus> iIserving the pressing and then into the apparatus for removing the finished tiles, to rest them on a conveyor leading the said tiles in The stores.

The main advantages of the. machine described are as follows: 10 It minimizes the. ma.in- d '# uv re; 20 She saves the. the most expensive colored material, of which nothing is now lost and which is exactly distributed in the necessary proportions; 30 It saves time, allowing very fast production of tiles with inlaid designs.

We observe that the devices described can be used for. manufacture of all types of tiles ii. inlaid designs whether formed by means of porcelain stoneware, cement or any; other materials of similar use. -
