Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Mittels zum Reinigen und Glänzeudmachen von Fussböden. Die bisher zur Erzeugung eines Glanzes auf Parkett-, Linoleum- und Inlaid-Böden verwendeten Mittel besassen den Nachteil, dass sie feuer- und explosionsgefährlich waren und dass die Böden unmittelbar vor Auftrag zuerst durch Aufreiben mit Stahl spänen oder Stahlwolle gereinigt werden mussten; ferner dass Wasser, welches auf mit diesen Mitteln behandelte Böden gelangte, Flecken verursachte, so dass die Böden wieder von neuem aufgerieben werden mussten.
Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist nun ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Mittels zum Reinigen und Glänzendmachen von Fussböden, welches die angegebenen Nachteile nicht besitzt. Zur Herstellung des Mittels wird Xylol mit Kohlenstofftetra- chlorid und Paraffin gemischt.
Es können beliebige Mengen desinfizie render oder parfümierender Substanzen, zum Beispiel Terpentinöl, Lysoform oder Euka lyptusöl, mitvermischt werden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 14 gr Xylol und 16 gr Kohlenstofftetra- chlorid werden mit 15 gr Paraffin gemischt.
Das Mittel wird wie folgt angewendet: Bevor die Mischung aufgebracht wird, wird der Boden vom Staube befreit, das heisst ge kehrt. Die übrige restlose Reinigung des Bodens geschieht durch blosses Einreiben des Mittels mittelst eines reinen Lappens und der haltbare Hochglanz wird durch gewöhnliches Blochen, welches sofort nach dem Auftragen des Reinigungsmittels erfolgen kann, erzielt. Ein späteres Aufwaschen oder Aufreiben der Böden kann auf jeden Fall ganz weggelassen werden, so dass der Verbrauch von Wichse bei mit einem nach dem oben beschriebenen Verfahren hergestellten Mittel behandelten Böden ein durchaus sehr kleiner ist.

The present invention now relates to a process for the production of an agent for cleaning and shining floors which does not have the stated disadvantages. To produce the agent, xylene is mixed with carbon tetrachloride and paraffin.
Any desired amounts of disinfecting or perfuming substances, for example turpentine oil, lysoform or eucalyptus oil, can be mixed in.
<I> Example: </I> 14 grams of xylene and 16 grams of carbon tetra- chloride are mixed with 15 grams of paraffin.
The agent is used as follows: Before the mixture is applied, the floor is freed from dust, i.e. swept. The rest of the complete cleaning of the floor is done by simply rubbing in the agent with a clean cloth and the durable high gloss is achieved by ordinary blooming, which can be done immediately after the cleaning agent has been applied. Subsequent washing or rubbing of the floors can in any case be completely omitted, so that the consumption of cum in floors treated with an agent produced according to the method described above is very small.
