Watch movement with a winding and time-setting pull-tab mechanism. The object of the invention is a watch movement having a winding and time-setting pull-tab mechanism.
Until now it was customary to mount said mechanism on the plate on the front side of the movement, so that its ends were hidden under the casing. In order to control and verify the operation of said components, it was therefore necessary to remove the dial from the movement beforehand.
This is no longer the case in the movement which is the object of the present invention, because the -bodies of the winding and time-setting pull-tab mechanism are mounted on a bridge of the movement. they are visible and accessible on the rear side of the latter, that is to say on the side opposite to the face intended to receive the dial.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a view in elevation, posterior face -du movement; Fig. 2 is a section taken along the line A-B-C of FIG. 1. In the drawing, 1 denotes the. plate of the movement cage, on which is fixed the bridge 2 formed by a 3/4 plate which carries the pull, winding and time-setting mechanism. This mechanism comprises the zipper 3 pivoted at 4 on the bridge 2 and whose spout 5 is engaged in a groove of the winding stem 6.
The zipper 3 is intended to act by a spout 7, on the arm 8 'of the lever 8 pivoted at 9. The lever 8 is subjected to the action of a return spring 10 acting on a pin 11, .de so that the rocker always tends to remain in the position shown in solid lines in FIG. 1. 12 is une'enc o, che provided in the arm 8 'and intended to receive the spout 7 of the pull tab.
On a circular bearing 13 of the lever 8 is adjusted a toothed crown 14 which meshes - notwithstanding the winding pinion 15 fitted on a square of the winding stem 6. The toothed crown 14 engages, on the other hand. hand, in the barrel hook 16 wedged on the barrel shaft 18. A retaining pawl 17 is engaged in the. toothing of the ratchet 16. On the pin 19 is fixed a toothed wheel 20 by grinding in a reference 21 for setting the time.
When the winding stem 6 is rotated in the required direction, the winding pinion 1.5 drives the ring gear 14 and the latter in turn drives the ratchet. 16. On the other hand, if we rotate the. rod 6 in the opposite direction to the previous one, from now, the crown 14 no longer drives the ratchet 16, since the latter is retained by the pawl 17 and thus forces the lever 8 to pivot to against the res return spell 10, which allows the toothed crown 14 to unclip, that is to say to disengage from the ratchet.
To set the hands on time, pull on the. winding rod 6, which has the effect that the pull tab 3 rotates the rocker 8, against the spring 10, until the spout 7 is engaged in the 'notch 12 of the rocker. The mechanism is then locked, while the toothed crown I4 engages in the reference -21, instead of meshing in h! ratchet 16 (position in phantom in fig. 1).
After setting the time of the hands, the rod 6 is pushed back and the members of the mechanism return to their respective initial positions.
It will be noted that all the members of the mechanism described are mounted on the. '(Plate 2: they are all clone visible and accessible without any difficulty, which facilitates the watchmaker's job when it comes to checking, disassembling or reassembling the m @ cannonism.
The construction of the mechanism could differ from the example described with regard to the attached drawings.
