Liquid meter. The present invention relates to an improvement in the liquid meter according to claim and sub-claim 2 of the main patent.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of this improvement.
Fig. 1 is an overview of colle-, ci; Fig. 2 is a detail view; FIG. 3 is an axial sectional view of FIG. 2, just before the. end of a distribution; Fig. 4 is a similar section, after the latter.
As in the valve described in the main patent, the motor member transmits its movement to the shaft 4 by the gear train 1, 2 and 3. The worm 40 is engaged, as before, with the helical wheel. 41 integral with the hollow shaft 9. The latter guides the shaft 10 at the end of which is wedged the cam 13 which carries a boss 60. The latter has only a thickness equal to half that of the cam.
The lever 20 has been replaced by a smooth neck 61 movable horizontally and capable of locking, as has been explained, the stem 22 of the valve plug.
This slide has, on the one hand, a spring 62 fixed to a .guide stop 63, on the other hand, a fork 66 supporting a pivot 64 on which a sliding .galet 65 is mounted.
A return spring 67 provided behind said roller continuously tends to push the latter forward while a sleeve 70 which is integral with its other face is permanently supported on the end of a lever 68; the latter is movable around a vertical axis 69 and is arranged so that its free arm can be actuated by the circular shoulder D of the rod 22.
The operation of the device is then easily understood. Before dispensing, the members are in the position shown in FIG. 4.
If we push the rod 22, as has been said, at the same time, the cam 13 starts up; the boss 60 rises and releases the roller 65 - which is brought forward by the spring 67.
During this time, the slide 61 has slid to the right thanks to the spring 62 and it has come to engage under the shoulder D worm rusting the rod 22 in its opening position.
Towards the end of dispensing, the boss 60 meets the roller 65 and pushes the latter towards the left as well as the slide 61 which compresses the spring 62.
The rod 22 is released and the shoulder. D comes to meet the lever 68 which turns around the axis 69 so as to. return the roller 65 to the position of the fi.g. 1 for which the spring 67 is compressed.
The operations follow one another without the need to turn the cam 13 by hand and the zero can then coincide with the number corresponding to the maximum of liters to be dispensed.
