Control unit for electrical circuits. The object of the present invention is a control device for electric circuits; it comprises a pair of contact parts, one of which is constituted by a stud, the other by a part forming a spring on which a control member acts to compress it, the arrangement being such that during the compression of the spring, this one comes into contact with the stud and that during 19, de compression the rupture takes place suddenly and in addition that when the spring comes into contact with the stud it slides on the latter in order to keep foreign bodies away.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. I is an elevational view of a first embodiment; Fig. There is an end view thereof, FIG. III a plan view, from above; Fig. IV is an end view of the second embodiment.
The apparatus according to fig. 1 to 3 - contains a metal fixing plate cc, two columns b and b 'connecting this plate a to. an insulating base c, columns b and b '- which are per = Bées laterally with a hole, in which is fixed an axis e on which pivots an operating lever f, carrying at the end of its finger an insulating part and oscillating g. Sure. the insulating base c is fixed by one of its ex trémités, a contact spring la, by means of a screw j, forming the Pou rant arrival terminal.
When the lever f occupies the position drawn in phantom in fig. I, the output res h establishes contact with a screw i which serves as a current inlet terminal. On the contrary, when the lever f is in the position shown in solid lines at la. same fig. I, the spring h moves away from the screw i and the current is then interrupted. The res out h, by the operation of the lever f, is arranged key so as to achieve a slight longitudinal sliding on the. screw i which serves as a contact pad so as to clean the latter.
The apparatus, according to fig. IV has three current input terminals: one, j, used to fix the spring h, the other two, i and k, </ I> each provided with a contact plate 1 and K, one of which is hole below the res out A and the other above.
In this way, the contact spring 12 is always in contact with one or the other of the plates I or K. The spring la constitutes h: contact piece forming with each terminal z and a pair of contact pieces.
Two or more mechanisms can be mounted on the same insulating base to produce multi-pole control devices, operated either separately or simultaneously.
