Description

Ship guide for shuttle embroidery machines. When embroidering with the use of individual tension frames, for example when embroidering handkerchiefs, the embroidery base is very often damaged along the inner edges of the tension frames.

This damage is due to the fact that the tensioning frames in the embroidery machine gates have to be arranged in such a way that the stretched fabric to be embroidered is at such a distance from the needle plates of the shuttle guides that when the needles are inserted into the embroidery base and when they are pulled out, the embroidery base is removed in particular by the one threaded thread always something against the stitch plates, or is pivoted away from the same, whereby it rubs off in particular on the inner edges of the clamping frames.

The subject of the present invention is a shuttle guide with a throat plate for shuttle lifting machines, in which an attachment is provided which is directed towards the embroidery base.

The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in an exemplary Ausfüh approximate form, and it shows: Fig. 1 two juxtaposed ship guides, of which only one is designed according to the invention, in front view, Fig. 2 is a side view of Fig. 1, and 3 shows a partial section along the line AA of FIG. 2, in connection with a section through a frame with an embroidery base clamped in it.

Of the two shuttle guides (sticks) 1 and 2, the stick 2 is used to guide a shuttle running between them, not shown in the drawing, the stick 1 helping insofar as it secures this shuttle against overturning. Both sticks wear in front, that is directed against the embroidery base S, each a throat plate 3 with the be known elevations 4, which serve the embroidery base as a position when embroidering without frames.

The on the stick 2 be strengthened throat plate 3 carries on the elevation 4 an attachment 5, which is provided with a Boh tion 6, which is in extension of the needle hole 7 of the stick and in which the embroidery machine needle working together with the shuttle pierces when embroidering . Since, as is known, when embroidering using individual tensioning frames, there are only a few embroidery tools (needles, shuttles, shuttles, etc.) that work together in a repeat corresponding to the width of the frame.

Drills etc.) are used, it is not necessary that the unused shuttle guides are also provided with attachments. But all boat guides can be provided with attachments.

When embroidering, the fabric clamped in the stitching 8 (h'ig. 3) is now so close in front of the face of the attachment 5,

that when the needle is inserted and the embroidery thread is twisted through the fabric, it can be swung out, which would damage the fabric, result in the shuttle guide ii:

right more can take place, whereby also bf-ini pulling the needle out of the fabric, a swiveling out of the fabric, which would damage the embroidery base, is reduced in such a way that abrasion of the fabric on the edges 9 and 10 of the frame 8 no longer occurs. follows.

The cross section of the attachment 5 is circular ring-shaped in the embodiment shown in FIG. The attachment could also be shaped differently, for example completely covering the elevation 4, or for example only partially enclosing the needle track. He also sneered to be located completely outside the area of the needle path, that is, at some distance from the same and without drilling.
