Auf dem Dreliza pfen h, sitzt in fester Stellung die Kulisse ?t. (.Fig. ?), die das in der Kulisse verschiebbare Gelenkstück v trägt, an dem die Schubstange ir an.gelenkt ist, derart, dass diese Schubstange tr, sich so wohl in senkrechter wie in wa.greehter Rich tung bewegen kann;
Machine for pressing curved objects from sheet metal. There are known machines for pressing arched objects made of sheet metal, in which the pressure roller is pivoted around the printing forme during the work cycle, in such a way that the pressure roller is in its most favorable position at every point of pressing, namely always as perpendicular as possible to the tangent of the The point of contact of the printing form.
This is achieved in the known machines in the manufacture of dome-shaped bodies in that the pressure roller is attached to a lever, the pivot point of which coincides with the center of curvature of the printing form. is set to this point before starting to press. With this arrangement, the pressure roller has to work in the hollow space of the object to be manufactured, thus pressing sheet metal into the mold.
This results in a congestion of the material and so with this known device it is possible at most to produce very flat dome-shaped bodies if it is at all possible to press smooth, curved objects without damaging the material.
In contrast, the invention enables the production of not only dome-shaped bodies with much smaller radii of curvature as before, but also other arbitrarily designed rotational bodies without damage to the material, because the required low elongation of the sheet metal due to the peculiar guidance of the pressure roller materials is reached without the risk of tearing.
This success is achieved in that, according to the invention, the. Pressure roller is carried by a boom - which is rotatable about a vertical axis which intersects the axis of rotation of the printing form at right angles, but with the proviso that the pressure roller is not attached directly to this boom, but on one with this boom articulated arm, so that the pressure roller BEZW the printing form. touches the workpiece from the outside.
The drawings illustrate several example embodiments of the invention.
1 shows an embodiment in elevation, FIG. 2 shows the plan for this; 3 and 4, as well as 5 and 6, show a second and a third embodiment in the same representation.
The two - each other symmetrically opposite bearing a of the machine according to FIGS. 1 and 2 lead the main shaft b, which is driven by means of countershafts, by electric motors or the like and on the other hand, the printing forme c is set in rotation. The bed d is placed on the trestles of the bearing a and: gives the support e the guide, which is moved by means of a lead screw f (Fig. 2) and 'the crank g on the bed d and so into one, the arch the printing forme c corresponding fixed position can be brought ge.
The support e carries a pivot pin screwed tightly to it, around which a guide piece i can perform a rotary movement. This guide piece i has a first extension of qua, dra- \ ischer shape, which when adjusting the support in the rectangular recess of the boom k. slides along
where the boom k, when it is parallel to the lead screw f BEZW. the bed, does not need to change its position,
on the other hand, only the support e with its pivot h is adjusted forwards or backwards. From the square extension of the guide piece i. A second extension with a round cross-section emerges, on the outer surface of which a thread is applied, over which the turntable <I> l </I> screws itself,
with the help of which the boom k. is firmly connected to the guide piece i after the support e has received its correct setting for a specific workpiece.
The boom le carries a downward-going arm <I> m </I> which swings around the bolt -n in a vertical right direction and at its lower end picks up the pressure roller o. The pressure roller o is pressed against the sheet metal on the spinning form o (by this pressure weight j).
To press the workpiece, the boom k is swiveled with the arm in and the pressure roller wa, gre ht around the pivot k, which was previously set vertically above the center of the arch of the printing form c shown here as Nugel- kalo.tte.
Pivoting is carried out by the pulling weight q, the pulling rope r of which engages the turntable l, so that '': the pre-clamping pressure of the roll o is kept even by the pulling pull of the pulling weight q which remains constant.
On the other hand, the steadily increasing pressure of the roller o against: the sheet metal of the workpiece is achieved by moving the pressure weight <I> p </I> on the sliding guide <I> t </I> in the following way:
On the Dreliza pfen h, the backdrop sits in a fixed position. (.Fig.?), Which carries the articulated piece v, which can be displaced in the backdrop, on which the push rod ir is articulated, in such a way that this push rod tr can move as well in the vertical as in the horizontal direction;
In addition, the push rod is adjustable in length and at its other end with. articulated to the pressure weight p.
If the boom 1c with the sliding guide t attached to it is swiveled around the pivot lt, the pressure weight p rotates at the same time on a rod? T? Around the articulated piece v on the fixed link ir, so that the printing weight p as shown in Fig.?
during this rotation on the sliding guide t jerks more and more outwards. In the position: z- of the operation Ti-. 2) the printing weight p is shifted outside by the value ri nasch.
After 1) rubbing is finished, the pressure roller is o with the. Hair grip: -. from the 'N, #' erl @ stücli: lifted off and brought back to the beginning.
In the end position, the effect of the tensile weight q and the pressure weight p is canceled by a special, not shown lock. The piece of sheet metal perforated or removed in the middle is pressed against the printing forme c by an arm B with pin C . Since the pressure is transmitted from the compression spring D (Fig. 2) through the shaft <B> E </B> to the arm <I> B </I>.
The arm <I> B </I> can be lifted off by pulling on the handle f to release the workpiece and insert a new one.
Through the handle G, the role M is actuated, with -the edge of the sheet metal piece being processed is rolled or folded in the usual manner.
The embodiment or invention illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from the embodiment described first mainly in that the pressure roller not only makes a circular movement, but can be guided in any way, so that the pressed metal sheets Shapes of any rotational body can be obtained.
For this purpose, the boom 1c enters the front. Universal joint m 'to which the arm ri is articulated, which carries the pressure roller bearing o1 with the pressure roller p1 on its lower part.
The pressure of the roll p 'is effected by the pressure weight q'. The same thing; slides on the angle lever r ', which has its support point at s' and is suspended from the universal joint m1 by means of the joint piece t 'under the rod u'. The pawl v 'articulated on the arm n' holds the angle lever in position.
The pressure weight q 'is moved to and fro by the fork zx', the control linkage <I> x '</I> and the gate y' on deim lever r 'during the work process. The fork swings <I> & </I> around the pivot point z 'which can be set on an extension of the joint piece t'.
Here, too, the workpiece is pressed in such a way, d: a.ss, the boom 1c swings in the horizontal direction around the pivot h, which is set on the bed d so that it is perpendicular to the center of the arch for the radius . R ', the printing form c is.
The pivoting is effected 'by means of the rope T' engaging the turntable 1 by the tensile weight A ', the mode of operation of which will be described in more detail below. With this pivoting, the pressure roller will first cover an arc of radius R '(Fig. 3) around the pressure,
The pressure weight q'- will slide outward on the sliding guide of the angle lever z ', which is evident from FIG. 4 and thus steadily increased with the pressure of the pressure roller on the workpiece.
The cross joint W now allows for workpieces with an S-shaped surface line, a further pivoting effect of the pressure roller with the radius R2 about the vertical axis of the cross, gelemkes before increasing, that is, a pivoting outward. This pivoting towards the outside is due to the fact that the movement of the pressure weighted q 'is delayed around the pin h, which can be done automatically or by hand.
In doing so, the transport of the printing weight q1 on the sliding guide of the angle lever v 'is automatically reduced, whereby
the pressure of the rotating rod p 'decreases - according to the need - since the sheet of this workpiece requires less pressure when it is pivoted outwards. The adjusting screws B 'on the boom 1c prevent the universal joint from rotating forward beyond the center line 111-M (FIG. 2).
It is not necessary that the envelope line of the printing form is composed of real circular arcs; the pressure roller is able, since it is suspended swinging, to follow every curvature of the .Druckform. The change in the radius R2 can be caused by pressure roller bearings of different designs for the pressure roller. will.
The pulling force of the pulling weight A 'is transmitted to the turntable 1 with which it is connected by means of the pulling rope T', which runs over the guide roller C '; it also runs around the turntable 1 to D '(FIG. 4).
The guide roller D 'carries a Seilspannun.gsvorrichtung, so that: the rope when. the @ sup @ p @ location e. has to be adjusted on the bed d can be readjusted. The guide rollers Cl and D 'are: coupled together by the gear pair E' (Fi, g. 4); their sense of rotation is therefore the opposite.
A Siperrrad F 'is firmly connected to the guide roller C'. While the guide roller C 'sits loosely on the shaft G', it is with the same.
Shaft G 'the worm wheel H' firmly pinned. The coupling between the worm wheel H 'and the guide roller C' is engaged by the pawl J1, which is rotatably attached to the worm wheel Hl, via the ratchet wheel F1. The function of the device is as follows: The worm wheel Hl is kept rotating continuously in the direction of the arrow by the worm K1.
The speed of rotation of the worm wheel Hl corresponds to the fastest forward thrust that can be given to the pressure roller p1 in order not to stress the sheet metal too much.
The guide roller Cl follows the rotation of the worm wheel through the action of the pulling weight A '; However, the slower it will follow this rotation of the worm wheel, the greater the resistance of the bleaching of the workpiece, i.e. the further forward the pressure roller 1) <B> 1 </B> advances.
For the first part of the operation, the guide roller C1 will generally have the same rotational speed as the worm wheel, because here the resistance of the sheet is still small; but it can never rotate faster than the worm wheel, as the pawl J1 prevents that.
The end of the rope on the guide pulley Dl prevents, as it inevitably unrolls from this, a forward rope of the pressure roll p1, which would be possible without this rope if the pressure roll p1 is forced close by hand or by flapping the work sheet - done there. then the pulling rope end in front; the guide pulley Cl would have to buckle.
The grained sheet metal perforated in the middle is pressed against the printing forme c by the arm L ', which guides a pin N <B>' </B>. The pressure is which originates from the compression spring p @, is passed via the shaft Q1 to fn arms P. The pressed workpiece can be unclamped from the machine by pulling the handle, S.
The machine has a tailstock, which frees up space in front of the machine as a control station. All the handles for operating the machine during the working period are conveniently located here. This is above all, but the operator's station of the dangerous and annoying zone within the centrifugal force direction of sheet metal and () 1 entriicl,: t, also the space required for the machine: on. Minimum restricted.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. A and 6, the universal joint ml is firmly potted with the hollow cylinders 1 and 2 (FIG. 5) arranged perpendicular to one another. Both Hohlzylin are connected to each other through the pipe 3. In the hollow cylinder 1 protrudes. a small diameter piston 4 into it.
The piston 4 is guided through the stuffing box 5 and carries the pressure weight q 'at its upper end outside the hollow cylinder. In the hollow cylinder 2, however, runs a piston 6 of larger diameter, which is sealed by the stuffing box 7 and carries the pressure roll p1 at its free outer end. Both hollow cylinders and their connecting pipe are filled with water.
The pressure of the pressure: gewiclites II is transmitted through the piston 4 from the water to the piston 6 and the pressure roller p1 and its size in the square of the ratio of the piston diameters 4 and 6 sets. The lever 8 allows the piston 6 to be pulled back, the toggle lever sliding over the extended position and consequently remaining self-locking in the switch-off position (dotted in FIG. 5).
The regulation of the pressure of the pressure roller is done by the adjustment weight 9 (Fig. 6). The same acts by means of the fork-shaped lever 10, lifting from below, on the pressure weight q1, the support point of the lever 10 being formed by the roller 11, which in turn is rotatably mounted horizontally on the fixed arm 12:
Part of the pressure weight q1 is thereby canceled; the pressure of the same is, as is evident from FIG. 6, in the initial position of the working period and increases steadily as the rotation of the boom k and the shifting of the pivot point of the lever 10 according to the change in the lever lengths 13 and 14 (FIG. 6 ).
This change in pressure can be read off directly on the pressure gauge 15.
In the embodiment .according to FIGS. 5 and 6, an automatic adjustment of the pressure roller position, that is to say the pivoting of the same outwards, is also shown. The eccentric rod 16 is mounted eccentrically to the pivot point, the boom k, at 17, and is fastened above the: disk 1 to the end of the support e; it grips at the other end around the piston 4.
When rotating: the boom k must, as shown in FIG. 6, be bent at the pivot point of the universal joint, the size of which can be determined by changing the eccentricity and position of the pivot point of the eccentric rod 16 accordingly.
The rod 16 is, as I said, eccentric with respect to the pivot point of the disk l respectively. the fulcrum of the boom k BEFE Stigt, on the pin h, which is rigidly connected to the support e. As a result of this, the pivot point 17 of the rod 16 does not take part in this rotation when the boom 7c rotates, but remains unchanged.
Because the boom k rotates with its guide piece i around the pin h, which, as said, takes part in this rotation through its rigid connection with the support e. Now in Fi.g. 4 the eccentricity is very small, however, because the distance between the pivot point of the rod 16 and the pivot point of the boom k is only approximately the distance between the center point 17 and the small circle around this ge beat.
If now .the machine is in this position, the distance of the center point, <B> 17 </B> from .the axis of the piston 4, is a distance that is almost exactly the same as the distance of the pivot point of the Seheibe l resp. the axis of rotation of the boom k from the axis of the same piston 4. As a result, the position of the parts through .the rod. 16 here at not affected.
The distance from the center of the disc l respectively. The pivot point for the boom k from the axis of the piston 4 in FIG. 5 is composed of the two parts III and I. HI is the distance from the center of the disk l to the axis of rotation of the universal joint and I is the distance from this axis of rotation to the axis of the piston 4.
Both routes are invariable and together thus form the .Srecke IV, which is the same as the route II in the position of FIG. 4 and represents the distance of the pivot point 17 from the axis of the piston.
If the boom k. Is now rotated, the lines IV and the line II describe two different circles around two center points which are determined from one another by the eccentricity of the point 17 and are somewhat distant from one another. Since the center point 17, around which the arcs II ge will hit, in Fig. 4 is slightly above the pivot point around which the arc with the line IV. Is struck, the two circles result,
one of which is marked IV full, undressed, the other marked II. The rod 16, which causes the circular arc with the segment II, is rigid. The segment IV, on the other hand, has a joint in the middle. Since both radii are now at one and the same point, namely the axis of the piston 4 , end, so this piston 4 can of course describe only a single arc and this arc is determined by the rigid rod 16. The .Strecke IV must therefore adapt to this arc arc and buckle in the manner shown in FIG.
Here, the universal joint rotates in such a way that the roller p is pivoted out, as can be seen from FIG. 4. The result is that the pressure roller q can follow the S-shaped curve of the pressure body and is constantly adjusted radially.
During both execution according to Fig. 3 and 4 the pivot point of the boom 7c only in the direction of. T.üngsachse on the bed d can be shifted, an adjustment of this pivot point in the lateral direction is possible in the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 6, that is to say right to the longitudinal axis of the bed d, by the support e with a sliding guide and Spindle is equipped.
The special guide rollers 18 for guiding the rope ends are also required here. This special device is a significant part of the door when 'parabolic or pointed cone objects are to be pressed on the machine, because Trierbei the most favorable pivot point position of the boom 1c is to the side next to the Län.ga, axis.
