Description
Produit textile. La présente invention a pour objet un produit textile comportant à la fois de la soie artificielle de celluloïd et d'autres fibres textile.
Ce mélange présente vis-à-vis de la soie artificielle non dénitrée pure l'avantage de pouvoir être utilisé pratiquement parce qu'il est peu inflammable au lieu de l'être d'une matière prohibitive; d'autre part, vis-à-vis de la oie dénitrée il a l'avantage d'une plus grande résistance.
Etant laissée à l'état nitré, la, soie de cel- iuloïd présente une grande solidité; elle est, d'autre part, aussi isolante que la. soie natu relle et d'un lavage aussi facile.
La. soie de celluloïd qu'on utilisera en mé lange avec d'autres fibres peut être obtenue soit en ajoutant à une solution de collodion ,du camphre ou des substituts du camphre (ma.nnol, acétanilide, triphényl, et tritolyl- phosphates, centralites, élastol ëtc.), soit en dissolvant. un mélange de nitrocellulose et de camphre (ou substituts de camphre) dans un solvant approprié pour former un collodion.
Celui-ci est filé comme le collodion ordinaire et fournit un fil de celluloïd.
Les' autres fibres à mélanger à la soie de celluloïd peuvent être de nature animale (laine, soie naturelle) ou végétale (coton, ra- mie, lin etc, acétate de cellulose etc.); des fils métalliques peuvent même y être.ad''joints.
Le mélange de la soie de celluloïd avec les autres fibres peut être effectué soit à la filature, soit au tissage. Le produit objet de l'invention peut se présenter aussi bien sous la forme de fibres et de fils que sous celle de tissus, tricots et autres articles manufacturés.

- REVENDICATION Produit textile, caractérisé en .ce qu'il est composé de soie artificielle de celluloïd et d'autres fibres textiles.
